Charlie Yates
Charlie Yates co-founded Plxsur in 2022 with Nigel Hardy and David Newns. He is also the creator and co-founder of Fearless Adventures, a venture capital company, and is founding partner at Contrado Capital, a leading sell-side corporate finance company.
Charlie started his career in Law, originally working as a Solicitor before making the transition to full time M&A. He progressed rapidly through the ranks helping many leading owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses realise their value through sales to large corporations with total deal value exceeding £1.5bn.
Following the experience he acquired in the corporate finance sector he set up Contrado Capital, a business helping the owners of market-leading and disruptive companies maximise exit value through company sales to global acquires across a plethora of sectors. Throughout his career Charlie has always been at the forefront on entrepreneurship and his experience in an extremely wide variety of deals is testament to this.
Prior to becoming a founder of Plxsur, Charlie Yates was highly active in the next generation products space and has advised the shareholders of Nicolites on their sale to Philip Morris International, along with the shareholders of Ten Motives and HighEndSmoke respectively on their exits to British American Tobacco. Charlie has long standing relationships with many of the entrepreneurs in the vaping sector.
